It's been a long time since I wrote her regularly. Simply put, I felt like I just didn't have anything new to add to the discussion, and I didn't really want to take part in the echo chamber and just keep repeating all the stuff that other people were saying better than me.
But it's time to revive the blog, I think, though it's sort of pointless for me to focus the way I used to mostly on national politics -- Arizona politics has more than enough crazy in it right now to keep my interest. And while I've tried in the past to sort of pay attention to local and state politics, it's been way too easy to ignore.
Sadly, that's entirely too common, and in that vacuum of attention, our state has been run into the ground by undereducated ideologues. That's a bad combination: stupidity and ideology.
So I'm back. Some people really need skewering.

So where are the new posts? I fully understand not writing when in seems that no one is reading them, but since I just found this blog, it's time to keep writing. In my own case, I've had two of the site that I would write on go the way of the dinosaur. I originally wrote extensively on Yahoo 360 and that was shut down. I migrated all my posts over to Vox and then they shut that down in September. So now everything is sitting on Typepad blog while I figure out what I want to do next. I can't say I'm happy with the format of the thing. It's all curly and girly to me. Whatever. It's Vote Day, so I've got to go make it happen. And where's this electronic music you speak of? Every heard of Fila Brazillia? If not, I'll send you some tunes. In the mean time, KEEP WRITING!
